Understanding Charts

You can use Excels charting features to create charts that depict the numbers in your Excel worksheet. When you create a chart, you can embed it in the same worksheet where the numbers appear. When you embed a chart, you can print it alongside your data.

If you prefer, you can place the chart in its own sheet, where the chart fills the entire sheet. When you want to print a chart on a page of its own, or you have many charts to create, it is best to place each chart in its own sheet.
