Using the Design Checker

The Design Checker is a tool you can use to automatically review your publication. Publisher scans your publication and notifies you of any adjustments or potential errors that you can correct before printing it. This is a good way to check for common errors, especially if you are new to page layout programs such as Publisher.

Design Checker reviews your publication for many types of errors — some subtle, some obvious. Some of the more common errors include adding a text box but forgetting to add text; putting objects too close to the edge of a publication or outside the printable area; and using a low-resolution picture that would be grainy or blurry if printed. ...
