Working with the Properties inspector

The Properties inspector is one of the most important and most widely used areas in Captivate. In this section, you will take some time to inspect the Properties inspector in more detail.

When you first open Adobe Captivate, the Properties inspector is hidden by default, so your first task is to turn it on via the following steps:

  1. Click several times on the Properties icon situated in the top-right corner of the Toolbar to toggle the Properties inspector on and off.
  2. Make sure that the Properties inspector is turned off before moving to the next step.
  3. In Filmstrip, double-click on any slide. This also opens the Properties inspector.
