In this chapter, you learned how to add accessibility text to slides and to the objects of the slides. Remember that this text is read aloud by the screen readers for the students with disabilities. Then, you learned how to make the interactive objects of Captivate accessible by assigning a shortcut key and by fine-tuning the tab order.

These options are a little tedious to set, but taking the time to do it dramatically enhances the experience of the student with disabilities. Learning is a right everyone has, so it is part of our duty, as teachers, to ensure that students with disabilities can access our course content in a comfortable fashion.
