This chapter introduced the concept of one-way binding and two-way binding in AngularJS. We also talked about the use of the AngularJS directive and how to develop the custom directive. With the help of coding examples, we discussed and demonstrated the basic behavior of custom directives, such as restrict, template, templateURL, controller, scope, and link. Furthermore, this chapter considered in detail the different isolate local scope properties, such as @, =, and &. We also talked about transclusion and its use in the directive. Lastly, we covered directive-to-directive communication.
