In this chapter, we discussed how to communicate with the server using the $http AngularJS service. A web application is the mode of communication between the client and server using the HTTP protocol, where the server is responsible for serving web pages. The client, which is web browser, requests web pages from the server, receives the server's response, and displays it to the user. The user uses the client (web browser) to display the web pages, watch videos online, and so on.
