InfluxDB is a time-series database, with no external dependencies, written in Go and optimized for fast, highly-available, and efficient data recording and retrieval in use cases such as monitoring metrics, performing real-time analytics, and IoT. Any metric with a text datatype can be written and read from it, along with a custom retention policy at the metric level. It allows tagging, which makes it a piece of cake for querying in a SQL-like query language.
