The same steps must be taken as described in the preceding section. One addition to that list of steps is that an adjustment has to be made to the cassandra-rackdc.properites file. Recall how, in the first chapter, the file contained two important properties: dc and rack. To add a new data center, all of the new nodes will have to share the same dc property.
