Accessing the Frame Generator Tools

The Frame Generator panel, shown in Figure 15.1, is on the Design tab of the Assembly Ribbon. It has tools specific to Frame Generator plus the Beam And Column Calculator from the Design Accelerators.

The tools fall into four categories:

Creating Frame Members Frame members can be created using the Insert Frame and Change tools.

Creating End Treatments End treatments can be created with these tools:

  • Miter
  • Trim To Frame
  • Trim/Extend
  • Notch
  • Lengthen/Shorten
  • Remove End Treatments
