Automating with Command-Line Switches
In addition to the easy-to-use interface, Navisworks allows some functions to be executed through the command-line interface for specific startup routines. You can use command-line switches to specify several options when you start the program. For example, you can run Navisworks in another language, perform additional memory checks, load and append files, and output error reports. With command-line switches, you can also set up several program icons, each with different startup options.
Think of command-line switches as parameters you can add to the roamer.exe command line associated with your Navisworks shortcut icon. Or you can use them independently in the Windows Run dialog box. You can include several ...
