Mastering Links
Earlier in this chapter, you learned about data tools and the power they bring to object properties. Now, we are going to discuss the power of links. A link is a reference to another file that can be activated with a click. The Link tool in Navisworks lets you attach an outside file to any geometry in the model. This tool further allows for a customizable interface for controlling links on the screen as you navigate through the model. To view links in the project, click the Links icon 
on the Display panel of the Home tab.
