You put information into the components that you use to build your Autodesk® Revit® MEP models so you can use that data to confirm the integrity of your design and improve coordination. The computable data in a model is dependent on the systems that you establish. Revit MEP recognizes many types of systems for airflow and piping. For electrical projects, the systems are the types of circuits you create to establish the relationship between a fixture or device and its associated equipment. This relationship is typically conveyed on construction documents by schematic lines representing the wiring. Circuit types that can be created include power, data, communications, security, and others.
