Creating Lighting Fixtures

Lighting fixtures can be located anywhere in a building. They hang from ceilings and structures; they are mounted in floors, walls, and stairs; and they even stand on their own. With the Autodesk® Revit® MEP 2013 software, you can make any shape or form into a lighting fixture family so that, if your project requires it, you can create a unique fixture. However, the majority of lighting fixtures used in building design consist of a few basic shapes. Unless your project requires it for visualization, there is no need to go into great detail when creating the geometry of your lighting fixture families.
