For most productions, storyboarding doesn’t need to get fancy or sophisticated. Any basic rendering of the shot should be all that you need. But your stickman images may still be less than satisfactory if you’re a perfectionist—and scanning images for digital conversion can be time consuming. Yet, you may not want to master another software program just for creating basic storyboards.
Alternatively, you may have storyboard images, yet sometimes need to create a sketch to convey a last-minute scene that was added, or a Plan B for a particular shot.
