Chapter 6. Building a Gallery Site with CSS and Spry

IN THIS CHAPTER, we’ll create a site for a fictitious client, Rive Gauche Galleries. Along the way, we’ll use and combine different CSS layouts in a single site, as well as explore the world of progressive enhancements using the Spry framework for Ajax.

As an art gallery, one requirement for Rive Gauche is that the site display a large number of graphics without a lot of scrolling, and at the same time offer a larger detail image without opening additional browser windows or linking to other HTML pages.
