Chapter 30. Backing Up and Restoring Exchange Server
Exchange has come full circle in regard to backing up servers. Originally Exchange could be backed up directly from the Windows server. Then with Exchange 2007 SP2, this option was removed. Exchange 2010 brings this capability back. You now have the ability to back up and restore the Exchange data from Windows 2008.
