Designing for mobile learning is somewhat of a jungle. That is, there are no easy answers to the question: “How do I design for mobile learning?” In our discussions with clients, we are often asked whether, in the training and development world, there is a learning theory or pedagogical system specifically developed for mobile learning, such as ADDIE or Dick and Carey. Unfortunately, for those who want quick answers and easy-to-follow formulas, the answer is “no.” At least not yet.
