How to Measure Success

There are two types of measures that every change agent must be concerned with: those that assess the situation and enable decisions to guide the transformation; and those that measure the progress of the transformation itself. For the sake of discussion, let’s call the ones that assess and enable, standing measures; and the ones that measure progress, let’s call shifting measures.
