14.1. Introduction

As the project manager continues the process of developing the quality management plan, another important aspect of managing quality will be the design, selection and implementation of tools and techniques that will be used to assess work activity performance as well as quality assurance to verify standards of quality are being maintained and this is called quality control (QC).
