SQL Server Analysis Services Overview

Introduced originally in SQL Server 7.0, the Analysis Services package provides business intelligence capabilities that are tightly integrated with the SQL Server toolset. Storing data is not enough. If you are not using that data to make intelligent business decisions, you are missing a significant potential that SQL Server offers.
