This section will introduce some SVG-specific text properties. The first few examples deal with the baseline of text in SVG. Depending on the sort of work you're doing, you may never have to tweak a text element's baseline (the visual plane on which a line of text sits). But you may have to, especially if you're doing work with multi-lingual layouts or complicated text-based illustrations (like a logo). So it's worth introducing you to these properties. The baseline related properties are alignment-baseline, dominant-baseline, and baseline-shift.
