Configuration Manager supports several site backup options that can be used to ensure that your site can be recovered in the event of a server crash, corrupted site, or some other unexpected Configuration Manager outage. You can evaluate the available site backup methods and choose the option that best meets your needs and requirements.
One option is the Backup Site Server maintenance task that is included in Configuration Manager. This maintenance task is created as part of the Configuration Manager site installation process but is disabled by default.
