History has recorded many famous predictions by eminent people, from almost every sphere of human endeavor, which testify to the transcendent nature of the human spirit. Not because these predictions were accurate—in fact, they were anything but—but because of their failure to daunt the future generations from breaking the barriers that they imposed.
