To get any work done in PowerPoint, you'll usually need to work with one or more presentations. VBA uses the Presentation object to represent a presentation and organizes the open Presentation objects into the Presentations collection.

24.3.1. Creating a New Presentation Based on the Default Template

To create a new presentation based on the default template (the equivalent of clicking the Office button, then clicking the New button in PowerPoint), use the Add method with the Presentations collection. The syntax is as follows:
