4.4. Virtual Machine Building Blocks
VMM presents a common experience across hypervisors when creating virtual machines. The common experience is reflected in the graphical user interface and the CLI. By linking commonalities across the three hypervisors, you avoid the need to duplicate efforts when setting up virtual machines through VMM. The operational manuals you create do not require long subsections for each hypervisor for each piece of functionality. Instead, you can concentrate on the feature itself and present a common set of actions required regardless of the underlying hypervisor.
