We have now covered all the infrastructure requirements for setting up App Volumes, but before we create our first AppStack, we need to make sure we have a clean build of the operating system on which to build the AppStack. This machine will become our capture machine, and in our example we have a clean Windows 7 build we are going to use.
Best practice would be to create the AppStack on the same operating system that it is going to be deployed on. So, if you are deploying an AppStack to a Windows 7 virtual desktop machine, then create the AppStack on Windows 7.
