On the vCenter Settings screen, we are going to select the parent VM from which to build the virtual desktop machines, and then the location and resources that are going to run them. As such, the configuration options fall into three categories. Default Image, Virtual Machine Location, and Resource Settings, as shown in the following screenshot:
The first thing to configure is the details of the Default Image to be used as the parent image from which to create the virtual desktop machines for this desktop pool. This section is shown in the following screenshot:
