Configuring the RDS server role

The first thing that we are going to do is to configure the RDSH server role, and then configure this server to deliver the remote applications. In the example lab, the server we are going to configure is called RDSH-Apps. To configure the RDSH role, perform the following steps:

  1. Open a console to the server, and then from the Server Manager and the Dashboard screen, click on Add roles and features (1), as shown in the following screenshot:
  1. The first screen you will see is the Before You Begin screen, as shown in the following screenshot:
  1. Click Next > to continue.
