Cloud providers have strategically targeted multiple bases spanning complex corporate network infrastructure to basic home users. While the client’s goal of managing data and resources remains the same, the means to that end has become radically different. From a physical standpoint the server rack looks the same as it always has. Multiple servers provide the computing power needed to service each client, or subscriber. The hardware and maintenance expenses are essentially shared by the number of clients and absorbed by the costs of services provided.
