Server Virtualization with Hyper-V

In Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft has raised the bar with Hyper-V, their out-of-box virtualization offering. When they first introduced Hyper-V to the world in Windows Server 2008, it was clear they had a long way to go to match what the long-established competition in the virtualization world was giving their customers. That all changed at the TechEd North America 2013 conference in New Orleans; there Microsoft announced a huge number of new feature enhancements and additions to Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012 R2 that offer far greater possibilities and deliver higher performance results than ever before.
