5.12. Create New Lists with Existing Templates
SharePoint contains several different kinds of List templates. The preexisting lists were some of the types of lists that can be generated from these templates. Most lists were meant to do a particular task, demonstrate the use of new data types, or integrate with Office 2007. Lists are organized under three categories, Communications, Tracking, or Custom Lists.
