4.3. Working with Web Parts
Now that you know the difference between Personal and Shared versions of a page and you know how to move, remove, and add existing web parts to a page, it's time to start really working with them. To do that, though, you need to understand how web parts are organized. They are generally organized by galleries. There are site collection galleries, server galleries, and the "recycle bin" of galleries, the closed web parts. That gallery contains all the web parts you may have closed from viewing on a web page, but otherwise aren't done with it yet (closed web part galleries are per page).
