Chapter 10Hands and Feet

Both the hands and the feet can be difficult areas to model. One thing people seem to have a lot of trouble with is adding enough geometry to create the hands and feet without adding unnecessary geometry to the arms and legs. I think once you are through this chapter you will find the process considerably easier. Remember, it’s not rocket science; we just need to break things down into manageable steps.
The Hand
1. So, let’s start with a little prep work.You can open Chapter10_start.mb from the companion CD. It contains a new image plane for the hand that references Lucy_hand.jpg in the Chapter 10\sourceimages folder.
