Texturing and Lighting a Vehicle, Part 1

In this chapter and Chapter 6, “Texturing and Lighting a Vehicle, Part 2,” you will texture and light an all-terrain ambulance. This chapter, which contains Part 1 of the project, will guide you through the following steps:

  • Preparing the scene
  • Assigning materials
  • Roughing in the lighting
  • Creating a sky in Maya
  • Roughing in the textures
  • Displacing the hill
  • Painting grass
