Color Space and Monitor Calibration
Gamut represents all the colors that a device can produce. Color space refers to a gamut that utilizes a particular color model. A color model establishes primary colors, combinations of which form all other visible colors. For example, the red-yellow-blue (RYB) color model is used extensively throughout the nondigital arts. The red-green-blue (RGB) color model is the standard for digital arts and computer animation. The color space available to various output devices varies greatly.
