A

A (address) resource recordA resource record that is used to map a Domain Name System (DNS) domain name to a host Internet Protocol (IP) address on the network.

Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP)An interface specification developed by Intel that is based on peripheral connection interface (PCI), but is designed especially for the throughput demands of 3D graphics. The AGP channel is 32 bits wide and runs at 66MHz, which translates into a total bandwidth of 266Mbps, as opposed to the PCI bandwidth of 133Mbps. AGP also supports two optional faster modes, with throughputs of 533Mbps and 1.07Gbps.
