An Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) set of wireless LAN standards.

A

Access Control List (ACL)

A list of each user account and group that can access a resource and the permissions for that resource.

active directory

The directory service that is included with Windows Server 2003. Active Directory is based on the X.500 standards and those of its predecessor, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP). It stores information about objects on a network and makes this information available to applications, users, and network administrators.
