At this point in the book, you’ve got a pretty nice layer cake:

  • You’re enrolled in MDM, which gets you the ability to remotely manage the machine.
  • You’ve got computers automatically putting themselves into dynamic groups.
  • You’ve got applications of all kinds downloading automatically.
  • You’ve got scripts running when needed.
  • You’re using MDM to deliver the in-box policies for Windows and some applications.
  • You’ve got users’ data stored nicely in OneDrive.

Everything is going great.

Until…Jack leaves his PC in the back of a taxi on the way to the airport.

Crap.
