The final chapters of this book are intended to be a source of ideas for mechanical designers seeking inspiration about machines useful for some of the more common scenery movements: turntables, lifts, and deck tracked effects. Nothing contained here is new or innovative, but since, as far as I am aware, nothing like this has been published before, it should prove a useful record of existing designs and techniques.
