Designing a Humanoid Robot

Often when I approach figure drawing, I start by breaking down the human form into basic mechanical components, and I draw the skeletal structure first. It’s an easy step from there to transform that mechanical breakdown into an interesting robot design. In the case of humanoid robots, joints are the key.
