Tracking and Stabilizing

Media Composer can track the motion of a part of your image over time. This tracking information can be used to control the motion of effects such as a DVE, a Paint, or an AniMatte object. For example, you might use tracking to obscure the face of a person who is moving around the screen, or to place a picture in a TV screen. To do this and much more, you’ll use the Tracking tool. This lesson looks at how to obtain the best results when performing a track.

Media Used: The media for this lesson is in the MC205 Pro Effects project.Open the Lesson 07 Tracking bin.
