Adaptive analysis
6.1 INTRODUCTION
In order to capture the local high gradient in a eld variable distribution, a
higher distribution density of eld nodes in a certain computation domain
and a lower distribution density of eld nodes in the remaining computa-
tion domain may be required. A robust meshless method should be able
to handle this type of nodal distribution. Thus, an adaptive analysis of a
meshless method is essential to ensure that the convergence rates obtained
by the adaptive nodal renement are higher than those obtained by the
uniform nodal distribution.
