Biography
Xian Liu obtained a PhD degree in Sociology with specialization in Demography from the Population Studies Center, the Institute for Social Research at University of Michigan in 1991. Currently, he is Professor of Research at the Department of Psychiatry and Senior Scientist at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress, F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. He also serves as Research Scientist/Senior Statistician in the Deployment Health Clinical Center, Defense Centers of Excellence at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
