Optical technology whereby multiple optical wavelengths can share the same transmission fiber. The spectrum occupied by each channel must be adequately separated from the others.

Wildcard Filter (WF).

Reservation style in which a single shared reservation is used for all senders to a session. The total reservation on a link remains the same regardless of the number of senders.
