Abstract

In this chapter, we first introduced the classification of porous bulk materials, the commonly used thermal conductivity theoretical models, and analyzed the factors affecting thermal conductivity from the perspective of microscopic mechanism. Then several experimental methods for measuring the thermal conductivity of porous bulk materials are introduced, and the advantages and disadvantages of the abovementioned experimental methods and the types of applicable materials are introduced in detail. Finally, from the perspective of phonons, the mechanism of thermal ...
