Collecting Data via Email
Access 2010 includes a feature that allows you to collect data through email and import it into your database. The data is collected through either HTML forms or rich Microsoft InfoPath 2010 forms. Access 2010 allows you to either update existing data in a table or add new records to a table. By integrating Access 2010 with email collection capabilities, you can have users update and add information to your database from different locations. This feature can be used, for example, in a club membership application that periodically needs to update its member records.
