Setting up the sequencer

This recipe shows you how to set up a sequencing client on a Windows 8.1 virtual machine. Unless there are particular hardware requirements to capture an application (for example, a 3D program that requires access to hardware acceleration), you should use a virtual machine to run the sequencer. Doing so allows you to take snapshots of the process as you go, to allow you to quickly go back to a point in time in the event that the capture did not happen as expected.
