Creating a server cluster

One of the reasons we install an additional AOS is to add it to a cluster (scale out performance) or to create a dedicated batch server.

A cluster in AX is a collection of AOSs that connect to the same database. A level of load balancing is performed as the user that is connected to the server is with the least workload (based on user count).

In this task, we installed the AOS to create a cluster. If we add an AOS to an existing cluster, skip to step 5.

Getting ready

Launch the AX client as usual as a system administrator.

How to do it...

Carry out the following steps to create a server cluster:
