Administering and troubleshooting workflows

The workflow system only requires administrative action for troubleshooting or if your network environment necessitates a change (that is, moving an AOS onto a different server).

When errors occur, these are normally due to errors in the infrastructure or the workflow design (usually where the workflow cannot start or assign work items to users).

For troubleshooting, you will be either notified by a user or you need to monitor it by yourself (say if the batch job processing workflow tasks stop running).

Getting ready

You should be logged into AX as a system administrator and be a local administrator on both your client PC and the server hosting the AOS.
