Configuring Analysis Services

Analysis Services is the engine behind many of the BI metrics and the KPIs presented by AX. In order to make this work, Analysis Services must be installed and configured correctly.

The configuration of Analysis Services will be done as part of the initial implementation; but you may find that you need to move the server on to a new host or to refresh the configuration after a refresh from live environment.

In this example, we will configure and deploy the standard Dynamics AX Analysis Services project; this may differ from your implementation as you may have had an Analysis Services project developed to match your BI requirements.
